Happy FRIDAY!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!!

I have a long time theory that Friday is the best day of the week!
Friday, for those of you still working a "normal job," is the day of the week to wrap things up.

People are more relaxed today. You might have time to read or forward some funny emails, there's chatter in the office about weekend plans and maybe even a bit of "hey! drinks tonight with everyone...are you in?"

People are ready for the weekend. Ready to spend time with family, the kids, work on the house, get outside, sleep in a little, exercise, go to a movie, go on a date, so on and so on.

Friday is even fantastic for those AAA personalities... sending emails, finishing up by noon, sneaking on to Facebook, updating friends, see what's going on and busily making productive and fun weekend plans. (They never slow down! Lol)

No matter which of these you do on a Friday we all have one thing in common.
It marks the end of a busy work week!

Enjoy today! Reflect on this week!

Do a few things a little different this Friday.

It's the first Friday of spring.
A season of renewal, rebirth, growth. Nature does it normally and right on time, for itself, every year. Nature recreates itself, creates new growth, changes its form. If you really think about it, makes changes and adapts better to its environment than the year before. (Like for instance a tree)

What will you do with your first Friday of spring???

Spend time with important people in your life?
Clean out that closet or garage that's been sitting there cluttered forever?
Start something for YOU?

Just a few things to get the old gray matter sloshing around up there in your brain but don't think too hard today!

Whatever you do, create new space, new thoughts, new room for something bigger and better to come in to your life.

So get out there!

Just do it!

It doesn't have to be perfect or right... But it's gotta be something that puts a smile on your face, keeps your spirit up and keeps ya moving forward!

Good luck!

Have an amazing Friday!!!

Homeless to Multi-Millionaire: Dani Johnson

Have you heard of Dani Johnson yet?

If not, then I am here to tell you: Go to www.danijohnson.com and check her out! She's also been featured as ABC's Secret Millionaire and on the 700 club as well! She has an amazing story...grew up with drug addicted, abusive parents, pregnant at 17, homeless at 21! She became a multi-millionaire by the time she was 23! Watch the excerpt from The View below!

I've been reading her latest book First Steps to Wealth.  It is well worth it!
And if you go to DaniJohnson.com she will let you get it for only $7 (shipping cost)!

That's how I got it and it was well worth it! Plus, I get inspirational emails from Dani too!

I'm still reading, but had to share a couple of excerpts from the book!

You were designed for wealth in mind.  We know that to be true because the Law of Desire states that if you have the desire for wealth, it is because you were given the design to have wealth......The desire is not for stuff; it is for freedom. ~Dani Johnson

Did you know that people are Gems?

Dani explains the personality types that go with each of the four Gems:

  • Sapphires

  • Pearls

  • Emeralds

  • Rubies

Reading this book, I have come to the realization that I am a Pearl through and through...always wanting to help others!

Dani talks about the 98 Percenters' way of thinking versus the 2 Percenters!

Are you in the 98% way of thinking? It's time to move over to the 2%!

If you are ready to join the 2%, then get Dani's book and click on one of the links on this page to get started on how you can start moving into the 2% too!

Guys, did you read Dani's quote above? "You were designed for wealth in mind." Make it happen today!

Recycled Fun with the Kids!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to pass on a great site that Jackson and I found the other day!

We were watching Qubo and a show by the name of Artzooka came on! We had never seen it before...what a great show!

It teaches children how to recycle items in order to create something new! This particular show was about creating a party critter out of newspaper, modeling clay and some other 'junk' found around the house.

After seeing this, Jackson and Mommy were inspired and had to find it online! We googled Artzooka and found the official site here: http://artzooka.com/

(Although I've had this post ready to go for a few days and I can't seem to get back on the site! I hope it works for all of you! You can find Artzooka through Qubo's Website though)

They have recycle challenges, downloads available to print out project ideas, and even an upload section if you would like to share your child's work!

Jackson and I had a blast checking out the site and creating our own party critter that you can see in his pictures on this page!

He is very proud of his Party Critter!

He's also pretty bummed that we have not been able to get back on the site in the past few days! He wants to make the rocketship! LOL!

Enjoy your little ones! They don't stay little for long! <3

Create a recycled art project today!

Talk to you soon! ;)

Life Will Always Be Working Out for Me. . .

I like understanding that things are always evolving, and while there are many things that could be better where I am, it is not really a problem because "where I am" is constantly changing to something better. I like knowing that as I look for the best things around me where I am, those things become more prevalent in my experience.
It is fun to know that things are always working out for me, and as I watch for the evidence of that . . . I see more evidence of that every day.

Success every day? How?

Good Sunday morning to everyone!

I find that weekends are perfect for catching up on all kinds of things. Family time, phone chats with friends, getting out of the house to relax, reading, finding a new restaurant, exercise... the list can go on for miles about what can't be done during the week with a busy schedule! Working from home certainly helps in this constant struggle we all have in achieving balance.

This weekend morning in my efforts to do a bit more for "me" I found this energizing article I had to share with everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It gave me a perspective and a feeling of "Hey!! That's do-able every day? Wow, I didn't think about it like that!".

No worries, it's not some crazy article on "wake up at 2am..." Ya right! Those DON'T WORK! I don't know about you guys but 3 hours sleep is not my style. On less sleep I'm less positive, more stressed, less balanced and pretty sure I'm getting less done or being as successful as I could be.

Logical, easy to follow simple changes... MUCH BETTER!

Enjoy! Hope it helps you too! Let us know.

Never Give Up!

Wow!

I've been checking out some inspirational videos on YouTube lately!

I came across this one and it just brought tears to my eyes!

I had to share it with all of you!

I was a sophomore in High School when this happened and I have to admit I really don't remember this part of the olympics.

We're always told to "Never Give Up!" But, do people really take the time to think about what this really means? No matter what your struggles in life may be, you are only given what you can handle!

I remember telling God, out loud, at my grandmother's funeral (when I almost lost my mom too) "Ok, I can't handle this too!"

You know what? He listened to me and I have my mother to talk to if not see on a daily basis!

My mom didn't give up that day!

God didn't give up on us that day!

Grammy didn't give up on us that day! (We believe this was Gram's 1st Miracle ;))

I didn't give up on believing the fact that I am only given what I can handle in my life!

I know I'm being watched over! I am grateful for it! <3

Anyway, back to the video:

Would you have given up?

I would have kept on going!

I will always Keep Going!

Share it with someone who needs a reminder to Stay Strong and Keep Going!

Appreciate what you have! ;)

Can't is NOT Part of My Vocabulary!

"Can't is not part of my vocabulary!"

Have you ever used this line? Jackson knows it well! Haha!

Maybe to prove to someone that you are determined to be the best at anything you set your mind to?

Or maybe to your children?
     - Partly because you want to encourage them to learn to do things for themselves
(Empowering themselves!) or maybe you are just tired of hearing the word "Can't."
        LOL!

We all know it can be rough day to day, but one thing to always remember is that:

"Can't is not part of my vocabulary!"

Once you realize that you can do anything that you put your mind to, you can only soar from there!

Imagine yourself succeeding in anything you choose! Whether it be:

     - Your Home Business!
     - Your JOB/Career!
     - Being a great parent!
     - The list goes on and on!

Just Choose and Start Making things happen Today!

I found this great pic on Facebook today and it goes well with this post! Thanks KK! ;)

Did you do it? Did you CLEAR YOUR MIND OF CAN'T?

If not, read the words on the pic again!

Ok, Now that you can do anything, get out there and do something great!

Until tomorrow my friends!

Have a great day/evening! ;)

Quote: Abraham - Hicks

You are the creator of your own life experience, and as the creator of your experience, it is important to understand that it is not by virtue of your action, not by virtue of your doing—it is not even by virtue of what you are saying—that you are creating. You are creating by virtue of the thought that you are offering.
You cannot speak or offer action without thought-vibration occurring at the same time; however, you are often offering a thought-vibration without offering words or action. Children or babies learn to mimic the vibration of the adults who surround them long before they learn to mimic their words.

Video: "Look at ME Dream!"

It's time to dream big people!

I just discovered this video on YouTube and what an Inspiration it is!

Look at me Dream
posted by BelmakciN on YouTube

(I can't wait to check out some of their other songs!)

Lyrics below:
Monkey tails, walking whales, kingdoms made of sand
Flying swings, candy rings, holding planets in my hand
I can dream of anything, anything at all
I can dream of anything...anything at all

LOOK AT ME DREAM

Timeless time, yours and mine, flowing endlessly
Any place, life's embrace takes us where we long to be
I can dream of anything, anything at all
I can dream of anything...anything at all

LOOK AT ME DREAM
LOOK AT ME DREAM
LOOK AT ME DREAM

Dream this dream of life unseen
Hold it tight
Never ever whatsoever let it pass you by forever

I CAN DREAM OF ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL
I CAN DREAM OF ANYTHING...ANYTHING AT ALL
To the sea, look at me always wanting more
I can fly; I'll never die as long as I can soar
I can dream of anything, anything at all
I can dream of anything...anything at all

DREAM A BIG DREAM... DREAM BIG
LOOK AT ME
DREAM A BIG DREAM...DREAM BIG...
LOOK AT ME
DREAM A BIG DREAM... DREAM BIG
LOOK AT ME DREAM
BIG DREAM...DREAM BIG...
This song can remind us all that anyone can dream big!

Children = Inspiration

My baby is spending the weekend with my Mom and Dad and enjoying every minute! I did get to meet up with him and Pa at the bowling alley and get creamed by my Dad! LOL! There was a clincher though...I had to bring Jackson's bike and helmet...so, was he coming home with me? Nope!

Jackson will be turning 6 on Monday (way too fast!) and usually bowls with the bumpers up, not today though, he wanted to bowl like Pa! So, with no bumpers, he bowled a 59! That was pretty impressive! We are so proud of him!

He recently finished up his summer McDonald's Bowling League and received a trophy. He was so proud and made sure to point out that his trophy is much bigger than any of Mommy's trophies! LOL!

Jackson, as with any child, is an inspiration! He's used to bowling with bumpers...yes...but what does he do? Strive for the next step, Strive to be better and be willing to Step out of the box, out of his comfort zone to become a better person!

We can learn a lot from children, we need to take a step back to our inner child, the one that is willing to take risks. We, as adults, have lost the ability to be able to choose to take a risk whenever we want!

I have been getting myself back to my inner child, I have been taking the risks to make my life better! Ya know what? It's working!

You have to be able to take a risk! If you don't, you will never know what could have been! That's something that could be regretted for the rest of your life! Is that what you want?
Thanks to friends on Facebook for some of these great inspirational pics!

Six Degrees of Separation to Deepak Chopra

I'm feeling very zen today. LOL.

Just in case you don't know... there's this idea that everyone, on average is about six degrees of separation to anyone else on earth. Here's the Wikipedia link. They say it better than I do:
Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that everyone is on average approximately six steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person on Earth, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made, on average, to connect any two people in six steps or fewer. It was originally set out by Frigyes Karinthy and popularized by a play written by John Guare.

That being said... I found out today that I am one to two degrees separated from Deepak Chopra! He is actually one of my friend's great uncles! Way cool! If you don't know who he is... well here ya go. Wikipedia Link and Deepak's site. His videos are really interesting. He's an amazingly accomplished man in both academic and spiritual endeavors. Whether one agrees with his views or not, one has to agree with the fact that he has managed to make an impact on this world. It would be a distinct privilege and honor to meet him if I ever did. I happen to like his thoughts and ideas. I'll have to keep you updated if I get the chance! *fingers crossed,* hoping my aura is good and our paths cross one day... :)

“Together we can help create a peaceful, just, sustainable and healthy world.”

Just like riding a bike!!!

Had to share this video with you all! Jackson has learned to ride his bike without training wheels! There is one thing about children...They have no fear, they are always willing to learn something new! We, as adults, need to remember this and let go of the fears that inhibit our lives! Remember this and you will go far! Fear can be a dangerous thing. (I believe Yoda said "Fear is the path to the darkside.") Will you join the darkside? LOL!

I am so blessed to be able to see each and every milestone that my child reaches! I am able to do this with the help of my loving husband and also the Empower Network!

Saving A Squirrel

To save a squirrel or not? That is the question! We believe that every living creature is valuable! That is why we always choose to save an animal...no matter what it may be! We have quite the wildlife reserve (we like to call it) here in Pennsylvania! Animals all over the place. ;) We love animals! Well, it's been pretty busy around here lately with baby animals being born in our yard! We had a mother rabbit choose to build her nest right under the carrots in our garden, everybody was safe and sound! Smart thinking Mama Rabbit LOL! Although lately we have had to help out a few of the creatures in our yard. We had a pretty nasty storm last week that knocked a couple of newborn squirrels out of their nest in our oak tree. :(

They looked similar to the picture above. We found one that had already passed away and tried very hard to help the second one, but he eventually passed as well.
Tonight I let the dogs out and Daisy, our lovey cocker spaniel, was sniffing at something. I asked her what she found, she wagged her tail at me and looked back down at it. I went over to discover another baby squirrel under a our magnolia tree this time. I called for my husband, thinking it was already gone; he came to check it out and discovered that even though he was injured, he was quite lively!

He looked a little more like the picture above with his eyes still closed but starting to get his grey! ;)
We automatically jump into action, trying to save this little guy! While trying to keep him warm with towels heated in the toaster oven, my husband calls a woman from the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center that he has connections with at work. She tells us to put some heated dry rice in a sock and place it next to the blanketed little guy in a shoebox. We put him in a critter container with one of Jackson's old receiving blankets, rice and a washcloth. We told her to keep everything and consider it a donation to the organization! She took the little guy with her and has already reported back to us that she thinks a cat may have gotten to him, but he is quite a fighter! So we are looking forward to the next report! ;)

This picture displays the squirrel life cycle...I found it interesting. ;)

All of the pictures in this post can be found on Google Images! There are so many! It was hard to choose! LOL!
If you find an injured animal in your area, be sure to contact your local wildlife rehabilitation center!
Let me know in the comments if you have ever saved an animal! Would you save a wild animal or not?
